As an Italian, I can honestly say this place is the real deal. At *La Lanterna*, I had one of the best *spaghetti alle vongole* I’ve tried abroad — perfectly cooked pasta and fresh clams full of flavor. The pizza? Just as impressive: light, crisp crust and top-quality ingredients. The dough is clearly made with care. The warm hospitality from the Italian owner adds an authentic touch that makes you feel right at home. If you're craving genuine Italian food in Koh Samui, *La Lanterna* is absolutely a must. We went here twice during our 8 night stay on Samui. The food was excellent. My 4 cheese pizza was honestly one of the best pizzas that I’ve ever had. My son’s Spaghetti Bolognese was also lovely as was my wife’s seafood pasta, made a little spicy just for her. Our Thai friend had one of the Thai dishes and was impressed with it. There are some really nice touches, bread as you sit down and a limoncello after your dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant and hopefully will return one day!

We ate there yesterday with family and friends. The owner Nello is super friendly and the food was great. Authentic Italian pizza and homemade pasta.

La Lanterna chez Nello,the restaurant you have to try at Koh Samui. A really good choice between Italian and Thai cuisine,best pizza,pasta and of course the steaks are out of this world. And not to speak about deserts,which are absolutely unbelievable. You can't visit Koh Samui without eating at La Lanterna chez Nello

la mia esperienza è molto positiva, dal personale molto accogliente al cibo di ottima qualità e curato nei minimi dettagli. Ci sono andata due volte nell’arco di una settimana lo consiglio sia agli italiani che ovviamente a chi ha voglia di assaggiare la cucina italiana in Thailandia. Grazie per la bellissima esperienza culinaria.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time, and owner was Italian!! Thin, deliciously baked crust and high quality ingredients. Also tried a really nice chocolate brownie with melted chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Will come back again if I’m back in Samui!

Amazing experience, had the Lanterna pizza, it was delicious! And Nello is super nice and very friendly. A must-go if you go to Ko Samui!

Charming restaurant with nice Italian selection of food and wines. Attentive and professional team. We were well looked after throughout the evening by both the staff and the owner. A lovely experience.
